I was born into the home of an evangelist and started traveling with my family when I was six weeks old. I traveled with my family in meetings 10 months out of the year until I went to college. I was saved at the age of eight and was baptized a short time later. At the age of fourteen the Lord called me to preach at the Bill Rice Ranch under the ministry of Paul Levin and I surrendered to serve Him in whatever capacity He should choose. Two years later, while reading my Bible, the Lord made it clear to me that He wanted me to serve Him as an evangelist. After college and graduate school, through the counsel of godly men, the Lord directed my heart to serve in a local church so that I could mature, gain wisdom, learn the heart of a pastor, and be better prepared to serve the pastor and the local church in the future ministry of evangelism. The Lord directed me to Burge Terrace Baptist Church in Indianapolis, Indiana in the fall of '95. I was Youth Pastor there for three years and during that time the Lord brought my wife, Becky, into my life. The Lord then led us to Community Baptist Church in the fall of '98 to serve with Dr. Bud Steadman. The Lord blessed us with five wonderful years of ministry and has now led us to enter into the ministry of evangelism. During the eight years of being a youth pastor the Lord kept the fire for evangelism aflame in my heart by allowing me to preach revival meetings, Christian school chapels, youth rallies, youth retreats, and to preach on several mission fields. The Lord has made it clear to us that it is now His timing for us to enter into the ministry of evangelism, and we praise Him for the opportunity to serve Him in this capacity.
Brent and Becky were married on February 22, 1997. Becky graduated from BJU with a degree in Interior Design. She enjoys coffee shops, going to yard sales and thrift shops, and shopping. Brent is an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoys weight lifting and practicing karate; he also enjoys coffee shops and especially good ice cream parlors! Hunter was born on October 4, 2001 and our second son Konner was born on August 4, 2003. Both of the boys enjoy trucks, tools, and playing outside. The Sivnkstys travel together as a family as much as possible, and they enjoy serving the Lord together in the ministry of evangelism.

It is our desire to exalt the Lord Jesus Christ by edifying, equipping, exhorting, and encouraging the church as well as evangelizing the lost through Spirit-empowered preaching and personal ministry. It is also our burden to strengthen the heart and hands of the pastor and the church staff through personal fellowship and service in ministry.
One of the great joys of a local church is to be able to witness the growth of the call and burden of God in the life of one of its members and to see the Lord bring that call to reality. It has been my privilege to know Brent and Becky for the past 12 years, having performed their wedding and then seeing God lead Brent to Community Baptist Church to serve as youth pastor for five years. They have both been tremendously effective servants of Jesus Christ at Community, and I highly recommend them to you.
Brent's strengths in working with our people have been his strong preaching ability and his personable way with the young people and their families. He is very cordial in his personal demeanor, but Biblically confrontational in his pulpit ministry. Brent understands the ministry of evangelism well, having grown up on the road under the capable leadership and training of his parents. He also understands the local church and his role of submission to the senior pastor, having served effectively in two local church ministries for eight years.
I am very confident that you will be delighted with the ministry of Brent and Becky in your church as they seek to fulfill the Biblical mandate of Ephesians 4, the salvation of souls and the edifying of the body of Christ.
Dr. Bud Steadman
Executive Director, Baptist World Mission
When my son, Brent, was around nine years of age, he came running to me, hugged me and said, "Daddy, when I grown up, I want to be a small boy soul-winner!" He is now grown and the Lord has mightily shaped his life. I counseled him to get a good education and then work in a local church to have his life deepened by ministering to people. I also challenged him to serve under a pastor so that one day when he would go into evangelism, he would know the heart of the pastor and be sensitive to the needs of individuals.
I have seen a maturity in his life, a compassion for others, and a generous heart that has been a blessing to me. He has depth to his preaching and a desire to be used in evangelism. I know that the Lord is going to use him, and I encourage pastors to pray for him. The Lord will open the doors of effective, fruitful service!
"Fruit that remains!" That's what I think of when I think of Brent Sivnksty's ministry. Brent was with us as a ministerial intern during his college years. Even then it was evident that the Lord's blessings were on his ministry. Brent's careful and compassionate ministry of the Word bore fruit. If you are looking for an evangelist who knows what it means to minister in such a way that "fruit will remain," I'd encourage you to invite Brent to minister in your church.

What a joy it is to recommend to you the good ministry of evangelist Brent Sivnksty. Having observed him in various ministries through the years, I find him to be a man of strong Christian character and excellent preaching ability. Both his call to and desire for evangelism are obvious. Brent and his sweet wife, Becky, have a real burden for souls and demonstrate a true servant's spirit. This couple will both bless and help your church.
Brent Sivnksty shared with me his burden to enter evangelism, and I was tremendously delighted. I have known Brent for several years and have observed his life and ministry. We have had him speak on several occasions to our teens here at Colonial Hills Baptist Church. I praise the Lord that He is raising up young men with a passion for the things of God, a love for lost souls, and an enthusiasm for life. Brent Sivnksty has all of these, and I am glad that I can recommend him to you.

When recommending Brent Sivnksty, the first word that comes to mind is "passion". Brent is a man of heart-filled passion - Passion for his God, God's Word, God's people, and for the lost. I have observed Brent for a number of years and have always found him to be consistent in his Christian stand, humble in his heart, and compassionate for others. He has been faithful through the years as a servant of the Lord and as a member of a pastoral staff. He will bring to the pulpit an understanding of the needs of God's people and local churches. He will certainly be a blessing to you. I can wholeheartedly recommend this fine preacher to you and would encourage you to hear Brent Sivnksty preach God's Word every chance you have.
