Children
Knowing that reaching and teaching the next generation is critical for the continuation of the church of Jesus Christ, Community takes this area of its ministry very seriously.
From a traditional, graded Sunday School each Sunday to our Master Clubs program each Wednesday night during the school year, age appropriate classes and activities are available for children from age two up through the sixth grade.
Each summer a couple of highlights in our children's ministry are the Vacation Bible School (see pictures from our last VBS on our church and school photo albums page.) for ages four through sixth grade and summer camp for the upper elementary grades (fourth through sixth). Parents won't have to coax their child to be a part of these exciting, but spiritually profitable activities. Also available during the summertime is our Wednesday Night Children's Chapel, a teaching program that is administered by our college age young people.
Another important ministry to children and their parents is our nursery, which is open for all church services. Large, clean, and well-staffed by caring workers, the nursery is a place where parents can feel good about leaving their little ones.
