Adult Sunday Schools
The core of Community's ministry to adults is the weekly Sunday School. Godly living begins with godly thinking, and a great aid to godly thinking is right teaching. That is why the proper instruction in God's Word is something not taken lightly.
Adult Sunday School classes available:
- College Class - Critical truths taught for a critical age
- Career Class - Spiritual help for the unique challenges of the single
- Foundations - Just for newlyweds
- Homebuilders Class - How to be a better spouse and parent
- Ladies' Class - Warm fellowship and support for ladies of all ages; as well as solid, practical teaching
- Berean Class - Great truths for those in the late 30s up to around 50
- Friendship Class - Continued doctrinal teaching for 50 through 70 year olds
- Maranatha Class - Staying spiritually productive with scriptural food for the sunset years
Both the Friendship and Maranatha Classes also enjoy many of our Seniors Ministry activities.
Another benefit of being a part of the Adult Sunday School ministry is good, wholesome fun and fellowship. Each class has a number of activities throughout the year - including hayrides, Christmas parties, trips to Chicago, cookouts, etc.
Men's Sharper Edge
What man is there who does not greatly benefit from a godly friendship! This men's ministry cultivates rich relationships centered on a particular area of truth found in God's Word.
Ladies' Bible Studies
For several weeks each spring and fall, ladies gather for a study of Biblical truths unique in meeting the needs of women.
